The Gold Label has a lot in common with the Black Label: made, once again, from Cortese grapes, grown on the same hill in historic vineyards rooted in red soil and facing the sun. Brothers? Yes, but different! In this bottle, my interpretation changes to show that Gavi is a wine capable of passing the test of time and ageing for at least 10 years, like the most important white wines in the world. Its golden yellow colour tells the story of its evolution in acacia wood, and the aromas speak of mango, papaya, lychee, yellow melon and vanilla. The palate features a soft sensation to which depth is conveyed by a tangy, mineral, citrus and spicy vein. Relax and listen to it: it has so much to tell you.
